Le pessaire de type Dish, disponible avec ou sans membrane de support, est utilisé pour soulager un prolapsus utérin du second ou du troisième degré, une cystocèle ou une rectocèle. Ce pessaire peut être également utilisé pour soulager l’incontinence d’effort.
Pessaire Shaatz
Le pessaire de type Shaatz peut atténuer les symptômes d’une cystocèle ainsi que ceux d’un prolapsus utérin du second ou du troisième degré. Sa forme convexe assure un bon maintien tandis que la perforation permet l’écoulement des secrétions de même qu’un retrait aisé.
Cube pessary
The Cube Pessary may be used to relieve the symptoms of a cystocele, or rectocele as well as a second or third-degree uterine prolapse. Due to its construction the cube pessary creates suction against the vaginal wall. Should this effect be too pronounced, the perforated version can be chosen as an alternative to lessen this effect.
Cube pessary with drains
The Cube Pessary, available with or without drains, may be used to relieve the symptoms of a cystocele, or rectocele as well as a second or third-degree uterine prolapse. The perforated version allows for an improved drainage of secretion and easier removal of the pessary. The ProFem® cube pessary can be ordered without perforation if a stronger adhesion to the vaginal wall is desirable.
Cup pessary
The Cup pessary, available with or without a supporting membrane, is used for a first or a mild second-degree uterine prolapse.
Donut pessary
The Donut pessary may be used to relieve the stress of a second or third-degree uterine prolapse, a cystocele, or rectocele. This pessary, often used by post-menopausal women, is easily compressed for insertion and removal.
Gellhorn pessary
The Gellhorn pessary with drains is used to relieve the symptoms of a cystocele or rectocele as well as a second or third-degree uterine prolapse. This pessary’s stem with knob is easily folded to facilitate insertion and removal.
Short-Stem Gellhorn pessary
The Short-Stem Gellhorn pessary with drains is also used to relieve the symptoms of a cystocele or rectocele as well as a second or third-degree uterine prolapse. It provides a better fit for some women with a shortened vaginal vault.
Ring pessary with knob
The Ring pessary with knob, available with or without a supporting membrane, has the same indications as the ring and may also relieve stress incontinence.
